Mia (she/her) is an actor, singer, and dancer from Kansas City, Missouri, whose love for performance began at age three when she sang in her red cowgirl boots and impersonated her family members. Recognizing her creative spark, her parents encouraged her to explore art lessons and attend camps, which led to performances in both community and professional theaters throughout the Kansas City metro area.
She spent two enriching summers at Interlochen Arts Camp before moving to Traverse City, Michigan, for her senior year of high school. This experience significantly shaped her perspective on art and the world, particularly during the pandemic.
Now a senior at Elon University, Mia is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in Communications. Her time at this liberal arts institution has allowed her to blend her artistic goals with her academic interests. As a member of the Elon College Fellows program, she researches mentoring emerging arts educators and will be a published author by graduation!
Also while at Elon, she’s had the opportunity to study abroad in London, perform regionally in summer stock, and assist arts educators (back at Interlochen!). She will get her Bachelor of Fine Arts in May of 2025 and is so excited for what post-grad has to offer!
